Lightweight Professional Strongman
Although he outgrew his childhood nickname, and a few others in between, Scott still exhibits the same vigor for competition and strenuous activities as he did when he was a child.
Now the Freak Factory "Pitbull", he laughs at the idea of quitting, and occasionally laughs quite loudly at quitters. He thrives on competition of any kind.
Scott will take on anything that crosses his path be it stone, farmer's walk or Conan's wheel, fearlessly and head on. His most recent opponent however is the only one to win by knockout, the curb in front of the Freak Factory after a 800 lb yoke attempt. Ask him, he's tell you about it.
Acting as your greatest support if on his team or your hardest competitor if not, Scott is always prepared to give 100%.
His seeming ease with the implements of Strongman make even the most complacent of onlookers eager to take a shot at the tire flip.
He provides various types of support to all ages and levels of experience. Acting as Mentor to upcoming athletes or sharing new ideas with his peers, Scott is always focused on contributing more and being better.
While many athletes selfishly hoard their training secrets, Scott passes on his knowledge and expertise to others, sometimes we think, to provide himself with worthy opponents.
This year he will focus on getting his World's Strongest Man Qualifier and with his determination and drive something tells us that success is just a few months or weeks, or even days away....
In every aspect of his life The Pitbull depicts the natural prowess for Competition and shows no fear when it comes to living. Whether it be through his commitment to the Sport, his love for life, or his outspoken nature, Scott "Pitbull" Brengel is bound to be one of your favorite competitors. But don't take our word for it, watch him and decide for yourself!
Scott does not believe in sleep, and so gets as little as possible. He doesn't drink coffee either as he has no need for excess energy, producing enough energy on his own to power the Disneyland Electrical Parade for the next three years.
Scott also does not eat red meat. He says it's no good for you and slows you down. The rest of us think it is why Scott is still a lightweight. If Scott ate a good steak once in a while and got some sleep, he's be knocking on the Heavyweight door in no time.
